WONDER PRODUCT! Vol. 4: MAC Fix +

This product is simply glorious. I use it on every one of my clients, as well as keep a spare in my purse for myself! MAC describes it as "An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!"

It is definitely a must have. I love to apply it before makeup, to give the skin some extra moisture and glow. Then, after applying makeup I ALWAYS finish with a few sprays to set the makeup. It also works great to spray your brush when using MAC Pigments to get really intense colors. I am amazed at how much longer my makeup lasts when using this product. It also feels AMAZING, and as my summer brides will tell you, it is a refreshing lifesaver when you are sweating to death! My family always makes fun of me because throughout the day I am always pulling it out of my purse and spritzing myself!

Country Chic Photoshoot: Monet

Monet is a classic beauty! She has beautiful features, and I love love love her profile. I know that is weird to say, but I have a slight obsession with interesting features, and things that make people unique. Monet is a ton a fun to be around, not to mention she is so so talented! She is a clothing designer and when she was married, she made her own wedding dress! Most of the photos that Monet was in, also show the design, which those photos are currently being submitted to magazines. So I only have a few photos of Monet, but I will have more to share soon! I was really going for some fun texture with her hair, while making it look like a classic 60's updo. I wanted her makeup to be very clean and bridal like. Yes, this dress had pockets! Genius!

Country Chic Photoshoot: Kari

Kari is so beautiful and authentic. She has a natural and exotic look, and I loved working with her flawless warm skin. She glows! We started the shoot out with loosely curled hair, and through the shoot I weaved her hair back into a neat side bun. I loved this look on her, it was so romantic! I was really inspired by her eyes and gorgeous skin, so I used mostly jewel tones on her eyes, emerald and a deep purple. Country Chic Photoshoot: Chloe

Chloe has the most amazing eyes and lips EVER. She is so beautiful it hurts. Not to mention that she is only sixteen. Thats right, SIXTEEN! Can you believe it? She is a natural beauty and it was so fun creating a look for her. We began with a natural windswept look with her hair down, and mid-shoot transformed in into a romantic, loose, messy bun. With her makeup, I wanted to keep it really clean. A natural bride look. We used plum and mauve tones throughout her look. Photos by Terra Cooper of Magnifique Photography. Country Chic Photoshoot : Heather

I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to team up with some amazing wedding vendors and do a photoshoot. The theme was "Country Chic", simplicity, elegance, and of course beauty! We had four GORGEOUS models that I had the privilege of working with. It was an incredibly busy photoshoot, with full makeup and hair for each model, as well as changing the looks between shooting. Needless to say I was running, and sweating A LOT! It was a very warm day and we were getting the ladies ready in a very beautiful but very hot barn. A big thank you to my darling friend Dani for assisting me during the first hour and helping me curl hair! I wasn't able to see much of the photoshoot, but the end result was absolutely breathtaking. We had some incredible vendors that brought such beauty and talent to the shoot. The amazing photography was done by the incredibly talented Terra Cooper of Magnifique Photography. The GORGEOUS wedding gowns were provided by Danielle's Bridal. I am still in awe at the amazing selection and uniqueness of each dress! They were beautiful! Wedding Design by Michelle at Utah Events by Design (photos of the design coming soon, they are still being submitted to magazines!). We did the shoot at the beautiful Kelly Creek Farm. Flowers provided by Florologie, and Tuxes by Tuxedo Junction. That is an amazing lineup of some INCREDIBLE wedding vendors!

Because there were several models, I want to dedicate a post to each girl so as to not overwhelm you with their beauty :)
When I first met Heather, she was wearing a flanel shirt and carrying boxes into the barn and yet she still looked like she had just walked out of a magazine! I was so excited to work with her, although it wasn't really work at all! My goal in this shoot was to enhance each girls natural beauty without them looking overdone. I was also very inspired by texture and creating a flawless look through imperfection. We began the shoot with a natural and simple look with her hair down. About halfway through the shoot we pulled her hair to the side with a loose braid and messy bun/ponytail and added some extra texture. Her makeup was very natural, using golden and mango tones with a touch of copper and brown. Here are some of my favorite photos! Enjoy!
